I'm looking at awnings and the measurement is 970. I've been offered a 1000 at a very good price of £200, its 18 months old and hardly had any wear. Dave225 Posted March 10, 2013 Share Posted March 10, 2013 You probably could get away with it as long as you do not mind that the side panels will be touching the floor instead of being about 3 inches above it. If the owner would allow would it be possible to try the canopy part and see how far down the sides it comes? Usually a line along the tops of the windows is about right. If it looks 'baggy' then maybe not such a good buy. You could always get it shortened but then again that means extra costs.
