Tinlizzie
Hi All, We have a caravan that we store in Spain. The storage company(El Verger) delivers it to my site in Calpe in December and collects it some months later when we leave. We don't have Caravan Insurance. Do you think this is a problem? I have always assumed (and yes- I will check) that it is covered by the storage company when in their care and when being towed. I am confident it is safe when on site. I have only started to worry because it has now been in storage for over a year and it will be another 6 months before we use it. Does anyone else have this sort of arrangement? ColinM50
I guess it depends on the value of the 'van. Under a couple of thousand probably not worth insuring, after all what would/could you claim for? Damage in transit would be claimable from the company doing the work, you're not concerned about damage or theft once in storage, so can't see why you'd insure it. And more importantly, where. If you want to insure in Spain then ask the storage people who they reccomend
