Irvin Posted September 20, 2014 Share Posted September 20, 2014 We emigrated to South Australia in 1968 and brought one of these folding caravans with us ... and it is fun to own one. These Aussies have no idea what it is !!!! When we first bought it - we used to pull over on Ilkley Moor and no kidding, fellow Yorkshire arians pulled over - looking for an ice cream or scones and tea !!!! Over here, we take it onto the beach at Aldinga Beach - which you wouldnt believe - in the middle of paradise...yes it survives storms, 40 degrees celcious and kids eheheh. SO its being restored presently - with a new canvas top and new varnish on the outside panels. Contact me for any details you would like .
