Guest ChrisB
Hi Not sure if this is the correct forum, but does anyone know in which year(s) Pennine and Conway trailer tents changed from cotton to acrylic canvas? Chris Spelling edit!
Keithl
Hi Chris, We had a 2005 Pathfinder and it was still Cotton in those days. I think they changed to 'Coated Polyester' (as their website says) in either 2007 or 2008. Try giving them a call and asking. Pennine Group Keith. It would appear that the canvas was changed to acrylic in 2009. They now use PVC/Isotherm (suspect this is similar to the old Dandy). Helping a friend to source a good secondhand example. From experience I felt acrylic was less likely to mildew/rot than canvas. They have come on a long way since I owned one in the late 80's (now motorhoming).
