scramblers
Last May I took out Red Pennant Motoring and Personal Annual Trip Insurance with the Caravan Club using the online facility. I duely received the documentation, checked the dates and the usual info and then filed it away in our motorhome. It's at this time of the year when I book our Eurotunnel crossings for next year so out came the documentation again to see if I could squeeze another trip out of the current annual insurance. Re-reading the 'Statement of Facts' I realised my wife was not covered by the insurance!!! I was positive I completed all the correct details online. A quick phone call to the Caravan Club confirmed that my wife was not covered and that a number of people using the online facility had had the same problem. The insurance documents were ammended while I was on the phone and two minutes later an email arrived with a new covering letter and 'Statement of Facts'. Lord Braykewynde
Friends were in the south of France 2 years ago when the hubby had a coronary. After a period in hospital they decided to transfer him to the hospital back home. They had excellent service all put on by Red Pennant. Ambulance to the airport with a doctor who escorted him to Gatwick. Another ambulance and doctor from Gatwick to Hereford. And finally they sent a chap to France to bring their car and caravan back home.
