Derek Uzzell
The December 2011 issue of the Caravan Club magazine carries a piece on Page 7 headed "Thetford toilet fix". If you believe your motorhome or caravan may be fitted with a Thetford C-250 CWE swivel-bowl toilet produced prior to 1 April 2010, then I suggest you visit the following webpage: http://www.thetford-europe.com/en/about-thetford/news/2011/improved-draining-solution-for-c250-cwe.aspx The C-250 CWE is the C-250 model with its own flush-water reservoir and there's a picture here: http://www.thetford-europe.com/en/products/toilets/cassette-toilets/c250.aspx (As the problem described relates primarily to damage caused by frost, it would be wise to check this out ASAP.) hector
I fitted the new drain hose to my thetford toilet but found it made little or no difference, what i did find however was that if i blew air into one pipe i was able to remove about 70 mls of water from the system, as i am on my third pump ( previous two split by frost even though it had been drained down) i am hoping that this will cure the problem.
