Thetford C-250 CWE FREE solution to draining-problem

The December 2011 issue of the Caravan Club magazine carries a piece on Page 7 headed "Thetford toilet fix". If you believe your motorhome or caravan may be fitted with a Thetford C-250 CWE swivel-bowl toilet produced prior to 1 April 2010, then I suggest you visit the following webpage:

(As the problem described relates primarily to damage caused by frost, it would be wise to check this out ASAP.)

I fitted the new drain hose to my thetford toilet but found it made little or no difference, what i did find however was that if i blew air into one pipe i was able to remove about 70 mls of water from the system, as i am on my third pump ( previous two split by frost even though it had been drained down) i am hoping that this will cure the problem.
