You need to inform your insurance company of ANY modification to the vehicle... Daft as it seems, one insurance wanted to charge my son £25 extra for for fitting reversing sensors to his Vivaro Van... then another £25 for a reversing camera.... Needless to say, he insured elsewhere, and cheaper!
