The natural cynic in me suggests that any interest rate rise will be swallowed by the banks long long before any greatly reduced increase has any worthwhile effect on the interest that you and I get from these selfish, self seeking, greedy and often downright dishonest organisations that like to portray themselves as caring and 'on our side'. But then again I might be wrong?????????????????????
