Bulletguy
End of the road for yet another tyrant, Bosnian Serb commander Ratko Mladic sentenced to life imprisonment for genocide. He went off on a rant in the court room so the judge threw him out. The UN Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) found Mladic guilty of 10 of 11 charges, including the slaughter of 8,000 Muslim men and boys at Srebrenica and the siege of the Bosnian capital Sarajevo, in which more than 10,000 civilians died. Let the evil swine rot in his cell. It's taken 22 years to get him there. https://www.rferl.org/a/un-tribunal-form-yugoslavia-hand-down-historic-verdict-bosnian-serb-commander-mladic-final-verdict/28869026.html http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/11/22/former-bosnian-serb-commander-ratko-mladic-court-hear-verdict/ https://www.channel4.com/news/mladic-jailed-for-life-for-bosnia-genocide
RogerC
It is too good for him. He should be taken back to somewhere like Srebrenitca and 'delivered' to the hands of those who suffered his massacres and genocide to deal with.
Bulletguy
RogerC - 2017-11-23 12:32 PM It is too good for him. He should be taken back to somewhere like Srebrenica and 'delivered' to the hands of those who suffered his massacres and genocide to deal with. Amazingly he remained in Serbia moving to various hideouts looked after by a dwindling circle of loyalists after the army washed their hands of him. At least he hasn't entirely escaped justice like Milosevic, a man many Serbs hate with a passion and blame for bringing about the war. He will die in prison. This is a lengthy read but gives an insight into the way he lived prior to his arrest. Feared by many and trusted by few he even threatened relatives. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/jan/21/14-years-fugitive-hunt-for-ratko-mladic-butcher-of-bosnia At least some managed to heal their wounds and i was first told about this event by a Serbian chap who witnessed it....then promptly found himself arrested by Serb military police who carted him off to Belgrade for questioning! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-20209770
