Im not really taking much notice of the polls as Im not sure how accurate or how much they mean right now after last time but it seems pretty much the same trend as last time with the difference that Cons & Lab are generally lower and others are polling higher. In 2017 the Tories were >50% when the election was called and Labour was at 25%. 2 weeks in and the Cons were still covering around the 50% but Labour had gone up to around 30%. This time we had Labour at 25% when the GE was called and the Tories around 38%... the Tories have pretty much stayed there (a slight increase since the BXP stand down) but Labour has gone up to around 29%. The 2017 gap was roughly 25% when the GE was called, the 2019 was roughly 13%. Two weeks in the gap was 20% in 2017 and 9% in 2019. Pretty much the same amount of narrowing. In short, anything could happen. You have such a loose cannon as PM he could totally fcuk it up or he could just come out with some blinding fibs that the gullible fall for and storm it.
