Buffoon Boris Bats off again!!

Oh the hilarity!! Madcap wacko Boris strikes again and exposes the cracks in a crumbling party!

Yet another article in his Torygraph column has incurred the wrath of senior Tory's who have denounced May as “too weak” to unite her cabinet and run an effective government after she refused to sack her foreign secretary, Boris Johnson, for breaking ranks over Brexit.

Johnson infuriated Tory MPs on both sides of the European debate when he spelt out his own personal vision of a hard Brexit in a newspaper article, only days before May is expected to outline possible areas for compromise with Brussels in a speech in Florence.

And that BIG RED BUS lie just will not go away!! (lol)

The claim that the UK sent £350m per week to the EU is wrong.

Boris Johnson and other Leave campaigners claimed that in the calendar year 2014, the UK gave £350m per week to the EU.

The UK's gross contribution was actually £361m, but - crucially - the rebate is removed before any money is sent to the EU. So the amount sent to the EU in 2014 was £276m per week, after the rebate.

The Vote Leave campaign's claim argued that the money could be spent on the NHS. Well, it could, but that would mean cutting all the money the EU sends back to the UK, for example on farming subsidies and grants for community projects.

That was in 2014. The amount the UK sends the EU has been falling. In 2016 it sent £252m per week to the EU after the rebate, the lowest since 2012.

never gives me any feeling that he knows what he is talking about, on any subject.

He doesn't need to because his supporters will just dimiss those quoting facts as 'Remoaners' etc.

Promising the impossible is a politicians career move

Saying he could do better than Thereasa May to make himself Tory Party leader, or blame others when we don't get this £350 million a week.

This is just politicians putting career before country again. :-(

At least Boris's blunder shows that Mays party is not singing from the same hymn sheet though most of us knew that already. However she believes "We are all going to the same destination,".....(if over a cliff she'd be right)....despite Dominic Cummings, who was Vote Leave’s campaign director calling the governments handling of Brexit "a shambles". I imagine May has moved him somewhere by now. Oliver Robbins, ex-Permanent Secretary at DExEU has moved to a 'co-ordinating role' at Downing Street.

May needs to go back to running through fields of wheat.

Vote Leave’s campaign director calling the governments handling of Brexit "a shambles". .

That may be so..but they are going to say that anyway because they have to blame somebody else for our being worse off after Brexit.

Who could believe these clowns are going to negotiate against 27 other countries with a mission to show leaving the EU doesn't pay, and then get us a better deal out than we had when we were in *-)

And in the second para of that blog he hangs himself straight away....

"The UK gives the EU a gross contribution of £350 million a week. This is not a lie."

YES IT IS......even some Brexiteers eventually saw through the fog and realised they'd voted on a lie!! Christ knows how many times that's been shot down in flame and the true factual figures are easily sourced from the ONS and/or Treasury, yet people like you still have a red mist problem.
