Not only are these something most of us visit, but you could alternate each meet between say York and Shepton Mallet which makes it fairer as far as distance is concerned. I'm happy come to a meet but unfortunately neither the time nor the location last suggested are practical for me. I accept 'the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one' principal so I just quietly dropped out of the thread as I did not wish to be seen as trying to stop everyone else. Guest starspirit Posted February 11, 2007 Share Posted February 11, 2007 Distance is not a problem as long as the cost justifies the results and a 550 mile round trip for a two day meet is not really cost effective. However if the meet was within a few days of one of the shows so that two events were encompassed in one trip that would make it more worth the effort and more likely to encourage more to join in - in my view?
