You can see why the government didnt want it published. Not a single region that wont be worse off whatever the leaving scenario is. The more divergence from EU regulations we are the worse it will be.

It makes shocking reading, especially for places like the North East.

Read it and ask yourself is it worth it? Is it worth it when it seems that none of the benefits of Brexit we were sold such as reduced Immigration and more money for the NHS etc are ever going to materialise?

Let me guess, you haven't read the document put together by your own government not remainers despite what Victorian mill owner and top hat twaaaat smug says?

What will it take? Britain to explode and sink into the Atlantic if we Brexit? Or would that also be acceptable?

I think you and a few other rabid Brexiteers have said you will be ok if the all these predictions come true but how do you feel about the damage to millions of others who cannot afford such hardship or are their jobs, welfare and happiness also worth Brexit at any cost?

He's too afraid Barry. Head in the sand ostrich mentality he was too afraid to view that Panorama clip so he certainly won't look at the HoC Briefing pdf.

The article sums up the suicide mission these clowns have embarked on. :-(

But according to those who were saying that if the leave vote won, everything would go t*ts up the day after. If you have noticed.....it didn't.

At the end of the day, it's a forecast not a definite.

And would you have guessed, it's a left wing news website. Enough said.

Dave.......the pdf file is from the EEUC briefings document also linked on UK Gov website here;

https://www.parliament.uk/business/committees/committees-a-z/commons-select/exiting-the-european-union-committee/

It's the content of that which is relevant. Also i'm not sure why you believe 'left wing' politics to be pro-Remain other than seeing them as subversives and a threat to Brexit which can only be borne out of fear.

All conjecture by people who have a vested interest in staying with the EU..

How do draw that conclusion Les? :-S

The EEUC who drafted the briefing is a cross party Parliamentary committee of 21 MP's.......though admittedly somewhat top heavy with 10 Tory's

Hi,

This is why we could end up in a mess. Cameron should have ordered this assessment prior to the referendum, it may or may not have changed the result we would have had more info.

cheers

Totally! There should have been a decade of planning and analysis. The trouble is it was an easy sell or at least it should have been. Cameron was offering more of the same, whereas exciting figures like the bloke down the Pub Nigel and Pasty waving Boris were offering those who thought life was a bit crap an exciting future. An exciting future based on pure fantasy. Really it should have been a "Leave" landslide but no, the result simply showed we didnt really know what we wanted.

But heads are still in the sand. Here we see people knocking the governments very own analysis which clearly, clear as day shows how much worse off we will be. There have been other similar analysis documents drawn up by both the Scottish Parliament and the USA. Guess what? They all show the same dreadful outcome. Yet on we go! You couldnt make it up.

Inevitably there will be MP's who've woke up, seen the light, and realise they are on a rudderless Titanic heading for an iceberg. The orchestra has already changed tune to "Nearer My God to Thee" whilst the lemmings shrug shoulders and say, 'but we didn't vote to sink'. *-)

Dave, the economy has fared slightly better than expected but is way behind where it should be whereas our neighbours have done considerably better. Brexit has already ironically put us nearly £350 million pounds a week behind. You may not have noticed seeing as you practically live in Spain but stuff is already costing more although they try quite badly to hide it.

And, AND! We haven't left yet. Of course the USA economist, Scottish Economist and the governments own Analysis could be wrong and Dave Pelmets forecasts from a caravan two bottles of Cava down in the Costas could be spot on. Possibly.

Well I presumed you meant fared better than was expected after the vote Barry ... I'd say its fared a hell of a lot better not just slightly better even Mr Carney has more than acknowledged that but of course you know better than him ... Embrace leaving a dying club Barry and that us in little old Blighty started it all the death of the EU ... Feels good doesn't it
