Impeachment Impending!!

At this rate Bigly looks set to be the first President on zero hours contract........if he's lucky! (lol)

Impeachment is looming ever nearer and just got a whole lot shorter.

On Thursday, Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) filed a “resolution of inquiry” that amounts to the first legislative step toward impeachment.

A new poll shows that registered voters are evenly split, at 46-to-46 percent, on whether they “support” or “oppose” impeaching Trump. Just two weeks ago, the pro-impeachment figure was 35 percent.

Bye bye Bigly. (lol) (lol)

Its good that the Americans have a way to get rid of their Head of State.

How could we get rid of ours?

Raise Olly Cromwell from his sleep? (lol)

Though i'm far from a raving Royalist i think our Monarchy is the envy of many, particularly the US! As Head of State i think HM Lizzie has very little effect on politics and to my knowledge has never voiced her opinion. Charles has on a few matters, though i think he's a bit of a wimp, also to a degree Prince Phillip, and had Diana lived i think she would certainly have made changes within the Monarchy system.

Politically our "head" as such of course is the PM who we can get rid of after four years or even before if he/she vacates as Cameron did, giving "secret Brexiter" May the unenviable position of becoming an unelected PM.

North Korea blasts off ballistic missile which crashed into the sea off the coast of Japan as PM Shinzo Abe currently with Trump at his "Winter White House" (his Florida club for the fee paying wealthy), expresses concern calling it "intolerable".

Trumps reaction?

Even as he confronted one of the gravest matters of his office, Trump nonetheless found it impossible to resist dropping in on a nearby wedding reception, already underway in his treasured Grand Ballroom. Trump designed and built the space himself after purchasing Mar-a-Lago in the 1980s.

Entering the ornate room, Trump took a photo with the bride and her bridesmaids, who posed in red gowns next to the commander in chief, mimicking his signature thumbs-up.

Then he grabbed a microphone.

"I saw them out on the lawn today," Trump said of the bride and groom, who were standing nearby. "I said to the Prime Minister of Japan, I said, 'C'mon Shinzo, let's go over and say hello.'

"They've been members of this club for a long time," Trump said of the newlyweds. "They've paid me a fortune." *-) *-)

Missile crisis by candlelight: Trump's use of Mar-a-Lago raises security questions

Nothing befitted Donald Trump more than his first real national security scare.

The urgent consultation with Japanese prime minister, Shinzo Abe, about a provocative North Korean missile launch, was played out by candlelight against a backdrop of hotel muzak, high-paying guests and low-paid waiters.

One of the guests, retired investor Richard deAgazio, posted pictures of the scene on his Facebook page showing aides clustered around the two men on the dining terrace of Trump’s Palm Beach country club, Mar-a-Lago.

The Facebook photos later illustrated, Abe and their parties stayed at their tables as their aides passed them bits of paper, lighting them up with their mobile phones so they could be read, while the keyboard vocalist hired for the night sang on and Mar-a-Lago guests huddled around to get a better view. In one picture, Trump is talking on his mobile phone, half turned away from Abe, who seems to look skywards in supplication or disbelief.

The same guest and Facebook member who had snapped Trump and Abe receiving the missile news also took a selfie with the presidential military aide carrying the “football”, the black leather satchel carrying the codes, manuals and equipment that are all that Trump needs to order a nuclear weapon launch.

And this is how he "makes America 'safe' again".....*-)...oh brother. The insanity just keeps on getting worse by the day. The sooner he's impeached the better. The man is a menace, a threat to the world and total lunatic.

Mental Health Professionals Warn About Trump

Silence from the country’s mental health organizations has been due to a self-imposed dictum about evaluating public figures (the American Psychiatric Association’s 1973 Goldwater Rule). But this silence has resulted in a failure to lend our expertise to worried journalists and members of Congress at this critical time. We fear that too much is at stake to be silent any longer.

Mr. Trump’s speech and actions demonstrate an inability to tolerate views different from his own, leading to rage reactions. His words and behavior suggest a profound inability to empathize. Individuals with these traits distort reality to suit their psychological state, attacking facts and those who convey them (journalists, scientists).

In a powerful leader, these attacks are likely to increase, as his personal myth of greatness appears to be confirmed. We believe that the grave emotional instability indicated by Mr. Trump’s speech and actions makes him incapable of serving safely as president.

Calls now being openly made that he is "unfit to serve" which brings me back to quoting the 25th Amendment i mentioned in another thread which i feel is the course Congress may go. Even if Trump challenged it, they only need a two third majority to kick him out of the White House. It's going to cost but will be money well spent......and America can always send him the bill.

10 Resign from President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders

Ten members of the President's Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) submitted their resignation to President Donald Trump.

In the letter addressed to Trump and obtained by NBC News on Wednesday, the 10 members — approximately two-thirds of the commission — stated their objection to the president's "portrayal of immigrants, refugees, people of color and people of various faiths as untrustworthy, threatening, and a drain on our nation."

This employee has fallen below the minimum standards required and unfit to remain in office.

Gallup Poll Trump Job Approval Ratings Down to 38 Percent

According to Friday’s edition of the daily Gallup tracking poll, Trump’s approval rating stands at 38 percent.

By comparison, former President Barack Obama was tracking above 60 percent consistently through the first six months in office. At no point in his Presidency did his Gallup approval rating dip below 40 percent.

Never in the history of the Gallup tracking poll, which dates back to 1945, has a President had an approval rating below 40 percent, or even 50 percent, in his first month.

This man knows what he's talking about......because he's seen it all before 45 years ago......only this time it's a lot worse.

The man who brought down Nixon says Trump is even 'more treacherous'

Watergate journalist Carl Bernstein criticises Donald Trump's 'unhinged conduct' and warns 'The most dangerous ‘enemy of the people’ is presidential lying'.

Bernstein, whose reporting with Bob Woodward and Ben Bradlee helped exposed the Watergate scandal of the 1970s, has told his 26,000 twitter followers: “The most dangerous ‘enemy of the people’ is presidential lying – always. Attacks on the press by Donald Trump [are] more treacherous than Nixon’s.”

Apparently questioning Trump’s mental stability, Bernstein added: “Real news (not fake) is that Donald Trump is trying to make conduct of the press the issue instead of egregious (and unhinged) conduct of POTUS.”

Nixon was also notorious for his hatred of the press. He publicly raged against “distorted” and “hysterical” reporting, and in December 1972, while being pursued by journalists including Bernstein over Watergate, he privately told Henry Kissinger that the press was the “enemy”.
