But the number of people crossing the English Channel in small boats is relatively small. Meanwhile, the UK haulage industry has been brought to its knees by a driver shortage induced by Brexit and covid. Views from people of Dover and an MD of an international trucking company. In the interests of Chatterbox maintaining a reasonable level of topical debate between posters can I suggest fm's please stop feeding the obvious trolling threads. I don't need to name the culprit as that much is crystal clear. Not content with being disruptive as he possibly can be on CB, last week he attempted to disrupt a thread in MM which had his offending posts removed, but also resulted in locking the thread thereby stopping other fm's from posting. He's neither interested in or capable of debate so posts threads with the sole purpose of trolling for a reaction. Ignore him and stop feeding the troll. I'd be taking a slow run down to Spain (or Italy) now if it weren't for Brexit Its made covid proceedure far more onerous, plus all the bother taking food in etc etc and the embarrasement of having to have UK on the back of the van as I am ashamed to live in a country that voted for Johnson's Government (which has scuppered the chance of an EU wide tax treaty getting into Her Majesty's Tax Havens and making the £billionaire 'newspaper' owners and Rentiers pay tax instead of just the little people) I would feel like a second class citizen in the EU now as we have lost so many of the benefits :-( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
