thebishbus Posted October 16, 2017 Share Posted October 16, 2017 I wonder, if an offshoot of our vote to leave the EU, could be the start of the end of our majority wins democratic voting system. The majority of remain MPs seem to be saying that they respect the result of the referendum , BUT !! The BUT,now seems to be them ganging together to vote down any Brexit proposals and kill Brexit. Then you have the Labour Party hinting that they should be in power and trying all they can to dislodge the Government . We see other countries where they try democracy and the losers will not accept the result, there it ends in violence, lets hope not here. Brian B. If we don't like our elected government we can get rid of them in 5 years time - seems to work reasonably well ( but far from perfect ).
