"Another week and another piece of good news in the real world – not the parallel, unproductive world of Westminster. Last week the UK was acclaimed as the global number one for investment – displacing the US, an economy nine times our size. But surely it can’t be true – the UK is leaving the world, after all; are we not shutting down as a result of Brexit?!?"

I thought the Remoaner "EXPERTS" said investment would dry up? *-) .........

Always nice to get an optimistic, unbiased view.

Let's all just hope that Ewan Stewart ( Director of the Eurosceptic think tank, Global Britain ) is right.

After all their Raison d'etre is making their clients money, not taking sides in a political bunfight :D ......

You do realise that your failed Brexit project is now the likely catalyst that will lead to a Corbyn Government? You all laughed at me years ago when I suggested that might happen. The Tories are on a sticky wicket now whatever happens. If they dont deliver Brexit they will be dammed and the only version they can deliver is so awful both sides are in agreement that its terrible so they will be dammed for that as well if it goes ahead. Its only down to the fact that Corbyn has not really offered any real opposition that Labour are not streaking ahead in the polls but they were much further behind in 2017 and look how close they came then.

If you ask me both main parties need splitting into two new ones now and the entire voting system revised. Cancel Brexit and concentrate on that then hold another referendum (if you must) in five years time.

I was the first to say that over on Facts and the Remoaner clique (including you) thought I was joking. I gave the reason Corbynski and his cronies would get elected would be down to Remoaners causing division with their constant refusal to accept the Referendum.

In a way, I hope it happens. You are crying now but you will be crying AND up to your neck in debt ... and sh*t soon. Do I care, no I do not. The first thing I will do will be to put enough money aside to enable my Grandkids to make a new start in a country not subject to doom and gloom. Then I suppose I will have to make preparations for the disaster that will surely follow.

Bring it on. :D

I think your gonna have to provide evidence of your claim and Im far from "Crying". With laughter maybe at the farcical mess we are now in. As to how you think I will be up to my neck in debt and sh!t soon I am bewildered how you arrive at that conclusion. Apart from a mortgage which I paid off in my late 30s ive never been in debt in my entire life and have more than enough to ride out this disaster thanks. If the country is now subjected to doom and gloom then whos fault is that? Not fecking mine thats for sure. 99% of the public never gave a toss about the EU or even knew what it was before this fiasco started.

Good luck with setting your grand kids up abroad though although there would be no need if we just accepted that Brexit was a massive mistake and act of self harm that we are totally ill prepared for. If it goes ahead I think you would do well to shuffle them off though, assuming you can find a country that will accept them.

You want evidence? Just go way back on the Facts Brexit thread until you find it. I don't go on Fucts, if it was not for constant bleating on the Brexit thread the forum would be dying on its feet.

One good thing about Brexit is the fact that it has brought the nutters out into the open. Some comments have me in stitches (from both sides I must admit). :D

I am now informed that young British people with a Degree or other good qualifications and in-demand work skills will not be allowed to settle in other countries. 8-) And the people who say these things claim to be intelligent! Oh well, if they are correct then I better start weapon training with the Grandkids and our Daughter (although her Medical skills will make her a non combatant).

Fear not young Barry, I will ensure you are taken alive. You have tortured mankind with your music and it is time mankind got payback. :->

Fine. Pointless arguing who said it first but if you thought Brexit might lead to a Corbyn government. the outcome of which would be so disastrous that you would have to put money aside to see your grandkids settled on the other side of the world (I Think you can forget Europe) then it begs the question why you actually went ahead and voted leave in the first place or if you came to that conclusion afterwards why you still support Brexit.

Nobody really believes we will have a better future outside of the EU now I reckon. They are just bat sh1t Brexit crazy like Dangerous DavePelmet who is now part of a cult or they are in denial. Your one of the sensible ones. I bet you would vote remain now even if you still like the "idea" of Brexit.

I voted first before my forecast. As I said earlier, the playing field tipped after the referendum, the Country became a political joke and we were all transported into a Parallel Universe.

Nobody knew what a dogs breakfast the Tories would make of it and nobody knew that Corbyn would obtain (and hang on to) power in the once proud Labour Party.

You couldn't make it up. 8-)

Your memory does not serve you well! I think you will find well before the referendum many of us said it would be a complete cock up and that Brexit would be undeliverable by the Tories and certainly within a two year time frame. In fact we were screaming it from the roof tops. I think I called it the "Chaos theory of Brexit". Way too many complications and with a totally divided nation and Parliament it never had a hope in hell of working, not least because we knew at the time there was absolutely no plan or preparation for a Leave win.

Its only been undeliverable because of our treacherous remain MPs . Had they stuck to their manifesto promises of delivering Brexit and the agreement that a no deal would be the 2 year end game result then we would be out now within the 2 years .

Politically its been a complete cock up ;-) ...........

That's because the Tories elected a Remoaner as leader *-) ..........

Economically it appears to have done wonders for UKPLC >:-) ..........

That said the "Brexit Bounce" could easily become a "Corbyn Crash" if the voting public take their eye of the Brexit ball :-| .........
