One of the good things about the UK and our democracy is the freedom to speak as you find and, if so inclined, to form a new political party.

It may well not happen but the freedoms and opportunities to talk about it, whatever your political views, are priceless.

Tories next I would expect. Both parties need to split.

Barry ... "Labour are a Government in waiting and will.be in power before Brexit" .... Then you wonder why no one other than your girlfriends on here believe a ruddy thing you say or predict

Oh well Im pleased you havent really got a little black book. (lol)

I suspect I used the word "Could" not "will" be in power.

As I said the other day though its totally unpredictable now so anything is possible.

Anyway good on those seven for standing up for what they believe in what must have been a difficult decision. They are already coming in for a lot of stick and abuse. There will be others I reckon probably on both sides of the house. Neither party is fit for purpose now.

Well as far as who will be in power and No deal then ok, Busted. Im prepared to admit I was probably wrong and jumped the gun but it doesnt change anything regarding Brexit predictions which if I and millions of others are wrong about ill promise to write a rock love song about You, Dave and Nigel Farage and play it live outside UKIP HQ naked.

Yes because the "Blair Rich Project" party is going to change politics by starting an organisation with undisclosed corporate funding, full of people who supported the Iraq War, who profit off privatisation of public services, who are embracing Tories with open arms, who make racist comments against BAME people on national TV.

The reason they've left is that they were going to be deselected by their CLP.

And for the record it turns out that 0.1% of the reports of anti semitic abuse reported to the LP was actually LP members, the rest was the general rent a mob probably Antony and co out to discredit Labour. Now 0.1% is still too much but the biggest problem is that Margaret Hodge and Co reported every vile tweet and email they received "where she believed the evidence showed they had connections with Labour." and swamped the reporting system as most had nothing to do with LP members.

Now the Tories.... https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/islamophobia-conservative-party-hope-not-hate-report-muslim-boris-johnson-a8784306.html

I see Baroness Warsi called out a Tory councillor for posting racist tweets the other week. Good for her. These two paragraphs sums up the Party of Racists. Some very nasty people in that lot and easy to see why it attracts UKippers.

To assert that the Tories were “in denial” about the extent of the rot within their ranks would be giving the benefit of the doubt to a party that seems to have written off British Muslims, and through inaction and indifference, signalled that engaging in it was acceptable conduct.

Whether its conducting a mayoral campaign – the vilest in recent memory – that baselessly attempted to portray a Muslim candidate as an extremist after people’s jewellery; hosting anti Muslim hate preachers; or sharing overtly racist and Islamophobic memes, pictures and posts, the Tory party has consistently downplayed any concerns raised, and the perpetrators have by and large continued to operate without facing any serious repercussions.

Sorry to disappoint you Antony but Labour don't need anyone's help to discredit themselves as they are doing a pretty good job unassisted.

Wow ... On a very black day for Labour the usuals are out trying desperately to take the attention away from their anti-Semitic party ... Instead of using Baroness Warsi as some kind of saintly figure they might do well to remember she was found guilty of breaching the rules she supposedly works by not that many years ago ... But hey-ho on a day like today they are desperate so desperate measures n'all that

Why aren't sex pest John Woodcock and Frank Field - who sit as independent MPs - members of the Independent Group? Are we already seeing a division between the People's Centrist Front and the People's Front of Centrism?

The peoples front for Islington North isn't looking that popular nowadays :D .........
