Vegetarians have been around for years and a variety of reasons, eg my neighbours wife recently went 'veggie' purely from a weight issue and must admit it's worked well for her. She's happy with it so whats wrong with that? As for "noddy cars" i've no idea what you term as that unless meaning low polluting small engines. Don't be fooled. Technology has moved on from the timewarp you've been living in. Tiny little 1 litre or 1.4 engines give phenomenal performance compared to similar from 20 or 30 years ago.
