carolh Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 We are off to Amsterdam - mini cruise - via Hull/Rotterdam on Friday evening - I have never been before. Can anyone suggest places not to be missed! Only got a day there - have to be back on board Saturday evening. We like museums and ww2 places, and gardens. I can recommend the Cobra Museum (art) and Zeedijk Street for your shopping and if time allows do try and take a guided tour on one of the boats which is not be missed. Howard. twooks Posted November 2, 2006 Share Posted November 2, 2006 We have been several times over the years, and generally just enjoy wandering around the canals, visiting the brown bars and any markets that are on. There are generally lengthy queues at the museums and have tried to get to them very early when we have visited them.
