Dave225
I have recently fitted asset of headlamp protectors to my Ducato PVC van. It is 2014 vintage and so has the old style lamps The set I obtained are the excellent Airplex type and come with full instructions. These advise one to remove the triangular body panel above the headlamps by removing 2 screws inside the bonnet and then pulling it upwards. Mine decided not to move even after removing the screws and not wanting to cause damage I had a re-think. I discovered that by easing the bottom edge upwards I was able to slide the metal fixing brackets along the gap between the panel and the headlamp until they were in approximately the right position. It was then an easy matter to insert the bottom plastic fixings and screw the protector to the brackets using the bolts and protectors provided. All in all a 5 minute job and no removal of the body panel required. Hopefully others will be able to do the same. Removal will be an easy reverse process.
