Anglesey sites ?

As the French have let me down this time I am looking around for somewhere in the U.K. where I haven't been for a long time - and one of those places is Anglesey.

 

Can anyone recommend any sites there ?

 

( Not all singing, all dancing sites - preferably somewhere ' peaceful ' )

 

Also - are there any provisions for cycling over there - I seem to recall it's reasonably flat - which is a feature becoming increasingly important to me these days.

Tacla Taid Transport (100 Cars, Bikes, Military and Agriculture) museum have a small site at the back of the museum which is quiet, only 7 pitches? Small shower and Toilet building. Newborough Village is walking distance.

 

Best of all for us was the Museum Café serving a Big Breakfast in the mornings.

 

The museum is bigger than I expected as it is spread across two buildings with the Bikes upstairs in the first.

My Wife loved the old Albion/Harringtion Coach.

Go on searchforsites.co.uk its free,type in where you are going and it pulls up both club sites stopovers inc.pubs and freecamping spots. We were on Anglesey 2 weeks ago and stayed at the site at Newborough Warren,superb views.

It's years since we camped on Anglesey and it would've been in a tent then anyway..

We stopped on the caravan club site and it was quiet, no toilet/shower block
