It might help to know the year of manufacture of your “Augusta” motorhome, but I’m guessing that one of the through-floor pipes leads back to a drain-valve for the main fresh-water tank and the other (probably a narrower-diameter pipe) leads back to a drain-valve for the (Alde?) heater. There’s a 2008 Autocruise manual here https://orbit.brightbox.com/v1/acc-jqzwj/Swift-Group/handbooks/pdfs/000/000/046/original/2008_AC_Handbook.pdf?1472743494 and the safety/drain valve for the heater’s water-boiler is mentioned on Page 112. As you’ve been able to decide that the boiler is near where the dripping pipe is located, it’s quite likely that it’s the safety/drain valve that’s leaking. These valves have been known to start to leak spontaneously, either due to advancing age or because dirt prevents them sealing properly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Derek Uzzell Posted June 21, 2017 Share Posted June 21, 2017 If it is the safety/drain valve for the heater that’s dripping, you could try opening it and letting water flow through it as - if ‘muck’ is preventing it sealing properly - this might help to flush the dirt out. Try doing this a few times, as opening and closing the valve several times might cause the seal to seat better. If the valve continues to leak, you’ll need to replace it. I think your 2010 “Augusta” will have Alde heating and (if that’s so) I’m guessing that a Truma manually-operated drain-valve would have been fitted. If it has a Truma “Combi” heater, then it’s likely that the more sophisticated and expensive “Frost Control” valve will have been installed. Both types of valve are shown in this advert http://www.outdoorbits.com/truma-spares-c-687_599.html with either ‘barbed’ or ‘John Guest’ water-pipework connections. Swift Group subsumed Autocruise in 2008, so your 2010 “Augusta” will really be a rebadged Swift model.
