Pete-B
Evening, I don't have my van here at the moment or the hand books so can anyone tell me what weight I can tow behind our Autosleeper Warwick XL Thanks for any help.
colin
Is it built on the Maxi chassis?
mikefitz
Almost all extra long vans are built on the Maxi/Heavy chassis. This has a train weight of 6500 kg. Mike
Keithl
But if it is only plated to 3,500 kg is it not more likely to be on the standard chassis? I found several reviews of Warwick XL's on OAL and all state 3,500 kg hence my question. https://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/motorhomes/reviews/motorhomes/details/motorhome-review-auto-sleeper-warwick-xl/1034979 https://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/motorhomes/reviews/motorhomes/details/motorhome-review-auto-sleeper-warwick-xl-campervan/957714 Not sure what weight Pete's is though??? Tintent115
My XLWB Wildax is built on the Maxi chassis, but plated at 3500kgs, which I assume is to keep things simple licensing wise. AFAIK it can be re-plated higher if needed to..... .
colin
With the earlier x250 AFAIK nearly all XLWB where built on the Maxi chassis, in fact I'm not sure any where built on Light chassis at first, but in the last few years campervan manufacturers have often used the Light chassis for XLWB.The CoC for our Maxi chassis shows max trailer weight as 3000kg, I seem to recall for the Light chassis it's 2000kg that should be easy for OP to look up.
