AndyLou
Hi can anyone recommend anywhere near (walking distance) Bath that we could stop for one night this Sunday the 29th? Thanks Andy & Lou
breakaleg
Hi If you mean a campsite, Bath Marina site is very convenient, you can walk in along the river we used the park and ride close by. Pete
derek500
We use the Riverside Coach Park in Avon Street regularly (our daughter lives in the city centre, five minutes walk away). At the moment it's closed for day use due to works, but you can park overnight from 6pm to 8am for free. We were there two Saturdays ago and last Tuesday. Just to add, we overnight in the van, not just park.

AndyLou
Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately on Friday night we had water coming in through a sky light because of a large puddle that formed on the roof. This has caused a short in the electric so we cam home early on Sunday instead of Saturday. Anybody else had trouble with shorting in a 2005 Bessacar E745. I love this motorhome only had it 3 months but the constant electrical problems are becoming a pain.

That's interesting to know Derek.;-) So is overnighting in the van permitted, tolerated or just under their radar? We have used the marina site a few times but I recall it being very pricey (we stayed at Newton Mill some years back but that was a bus ride in/out).
