Your photo is of a ‘genuine’ Fiat-marked wind deflector

so one might expect (!!!) that it should not cause window-closing problems.

Worth adding perhaps that there are alternative wind-deflectors/ventilators being marketed (examples here)

goldi - 2016-12-01 2:17 PMGood afternoon , I got a pair from Micks garage and they work ok. norm
So did I. Very pleased with them, I could drive all day with the drivers window, a boon in hot weather. An inexpensive improvement to driving comfort.

Hi ducto

Yes, I have had these wind deflectors on several Ducato based Motorhomes, panel vans and now a coachbuilt. In fact, it's the same set I bought from a company called automotive_jandj on eBay, fairly easy to fit and remove - just need to replace the double sided tape for re-use.

Mine are Heko wind deflectors and they can be a tight fit. Initially on this coachbuilt the Windows slowed down quite a bit just nearing the fully closed position. Had them on a year now and have noticed it has eased off and they open and close without any difficulty.

Have to say they are one accessory I feel are worth having - especially good in wet weather when the demist function doesn't clear everything but with the window down just an inch or so it clears the glass without rain or wind entering the cab.

Not sure yet how to reply to all users so"

Hi

Thanks for all the links but today, what I've been looking for popped up!

I've had these on a VW T4 for the past 13 years with no problems:

They're stuck around the outside of the window so no interference with the window channel and possible expensive motor burn-outs.

Thanks again

I've never tried the ones that simply stick on the outside of the window Ducto so cannot comment on them but I do prefer the more integrated look of the ones that fit into the channel. As others have said, once they bed in the window goes up without undue stress on the motors.
