How to seal a leak from a fresh water tank?

My initial thought would be to try work out exactly what is leaking. Is it the tank, the fitting, it the pipe?

Once you have done that, I would replace the damaged item entirely.

The reasons? Firstly, you are drinking the stuff that comes out if this tank and you really don't want to have imperfections where bacteria can grow.

Secondly, a 'fix' might fail in the future, possibly causing £1,000s worth of damage to your MH.

As Michael advises, the ‘fix’ will depend on why the leak is occurring.

If the leak can be cured just by applying a sealant externally, Fernox LS-X is probably you best bet (after you’ve emptied the water tank to remove pressure at the leak).

It’s readily available from Screwfix, Toolstation, plumbing suppliers, etc.
