We are planning a Sept trip into the Lake District to do some hill ascents based at Coniston & Borrowdale, but would like to try & finish at a coastal site where the dog can run free after too many days on a lead. Any recommendations for sites [CL/CS/commercial] that are on the coastline - hardstanding & electric are a pre-requisite. We are booked into Shepherds View at Torver - CS, for some warm up walks around Coniston then the CC Borrowdale site at Manesty for the Scafell Pike ascent & finally to the C & CC Ravenglass site for the dog to have a good run on the beach.
