flyboyprowler
Having had no previous problems, and the dish behaving normally last Sunday, the dish will not now motor up, and there is no indication on the box at all. I have checked the fuses and all appear to be OK, so a bit baffled! Any thoughts please as the telly is needed! I should add that it is an Oyster Vision 85cm around 7 years old. bounty hunter
Sometimes my Oyster doesn't retract completely but I do get a message on the display. I go into settings and arrow through till it comes up "fix arm" and press the return button and it comes up "fully retracted" Hope this helps. Keithl
You say you have checked the fuses but is there actually voltage at the fuses or did you just check visually ? Keith.
flyboyprowler
Thankfully, all sorted now. I found an extra in-line fuse that had blown, and all working well. The dimmable LED awning lighting is on the same fuse as the dish, and that had also stopped working due to a faulty dimmer unit. I feel that this must have caused the initial fault. Thanks for the input. Ainsley
Ninian
Hi, This happened to mine last year, I contacted Oyster direct and was told to check that the ARM of the dish was seated correctly in its resting position. It wasn't and that is what was stopping the dish from working. It has to be in its correct position as this is the reset for rising up again.
