arthur49
Anyone removed the drivers seat on x250? I want to remove it to install a 2nd leisure battery there......makes it easier. Looks to me like two bolts at the front need to be removed. Then the seat slides forward and lifts out? But what's the electric cable? Seat belt pretensioner? And what to do with it? Brambles
Make sure ignition has been off for a few minutes and then just unplug it.

Then the seat slides forward and lifts out? Arthur Yes, Thats the theory. When the two front bolts are out, try persuasion with a soft hammer to slide the seat base frame towards the rear of the van. Then it should lift out. As a last resort undo the two rear mounting bolts with a torq bit on a socket extention. Hoping the nut that is welded under the hole doesn't break the weld and start turning with the bolt.
