dav7
Hi , several of the decals on our motorhome have become very wrinkled over the last few years, does anyone know of an easy way to remove them altogether. Many Thanks for any help,
paws
Gentle heat from a hair drier or similar. Pick at a corner with you're finger nail to start then peel back decal, while applying a very gentle heat. If you overheat it the decal will keep breaking. Once removed there will be some residue from the adhesive which comes off easily with white spirits. You will almost certainly be left with the "ghost" of the original decal which is almost impossible to remove Patrick
Mark Wilkes
I find that once the decal is off then the residue cleans easily with Wd40.
Kennyd
Rather than your finger nails , I use an old credit card to start to lift the vinyl then fingers to peel it off

If you do this which is fine, then you will have to re polish and re wax. WD40 will remove all existing polishes. Not a problem - just be aware!
