michaelmorris
We have a 2003 Elddis Autoquest 200. It came with a neat folding table that stows in the wardrobe. Unfortunately the white retaining clip that holds the legs against the table when the legs have folded has just snapped off (I dropped the table) Does anyone know where I might get a replacement clip? Thanks.
Keithl
Michael, It looks like either an overflow pipe clip or possibly a PVC conduit clip. Something like this possibly... http://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-waste-pipe-clips-white-21-5mm-10-pack/17900 What is the diameter of the table leg which goes in it? Otherwise I would suggest a visit to your local plumbers merchant. Keith.
PJay
I would unscrew what is left, and take it to any plumbers merchant, B&Q, etc. You should be able to get a replacement PJay

pepe63xnotuse
I wonder if the likes of a decent quality, steel "Terry clip" would be more "durable"? (although the original plastic one hasn't lasted too badly, that's assuming it's the original)
Charles
Ours lasted 3 years. I think I'll repair it by fitting a post with a turning lever on the end to go over the leg, all made from highest grade stainless steel... or whatever I've got in the shed :)

Keith, I was not "getting "at you. As I said we use Screwfix a lot, BUt sometimes they only sell certain items in bulk, Like screws /nails etc. Our garage is loaded with nails/screws , bought in bulk in all sizes, just for a little job! We are fortunate to have a little hardware shop in our very small shopping precinct. He is a very helpful man and will try and get things for you, as well. We do like to use "local" little shops where possible , even if only for small items, as there are lot's of elderly people (on mobility scooters) who need them to stay open. michaelmorris
Thanks for the idea about the pipe clip. I had some old one's in my plumbing box. With a little fettling to make a large space between the jaws of the clip, it works a treat. Thanks folks.
InvictaMoto
Did the Screwfix solution work. Have the same problem. Bungees don't do as good a job!!
Charles
The pipe clip kind of works, it clicks into it but sometimes pops out again. It's a weaker more flexible type of plastic. If I was repairing again I'd use a turnbuckle type arm to hold it.
Tracker
If the leg is steel a decent magnet might do the job, or a bridging strap held in place magnetically if not steel?
Alanb
I am surprised that Ebay has not been suggested as a possible source of supply. I find that Ebay is useful when wanting small quanities of small items. Yes the cost per item is relatively high in smaller amounts, but what would be the point of buying 100 whatsits, when you only need 2 for a special task, and they are not like the ever popular 3/4" x No 6 countersunk screws.
