We visited the Lincs show last Saturday and we were given a "goody bag "

Nowhere near as good as last year , as that had some useful items in it, but can anyone inform us what is the blue cloth and glass jar is for ? ( No medical suggestions please ! )

Is this the ‘gift’ you received? (picture below) If so, the blue cloth looks like a common-or-garden ’all purpose’ microfibre cloth (for example, for final polishing after wax has been applied to a vehicle’s bodywork)

and the jar looks like a ‘multi use’ container for liquid - though these are normally made of plastic.

We intended to go on the first day, Friday, but due to bad weather we attended Saturday,

Apparently a lot of stalls closed early on Friday ,before they were blown away.

We arrived early about 9,45 and were waved in ahead of about half a dozen in a small queue as we had booked tickets.

Still very cold and windy.

There were more vans for sale than we had expected as we are aware of the boom in sales and low stocks.

Not so many independent stalls as last year and a fair few empty plots at the top end.

After about one hour and a half we called it a day and was very surprised to see a huge queue at the entrance as we left.

Very little social distancing early on even other non mask wearers entering vans that had already viewers inside, very disappointing, so we were pleased to get around when it was much quieter. Surprised how far some had travelled to Lincs.

We have been told the van sales went very well with one dealer selling 6 vans.
