Kahloflow
Any one cast some light on the drainage pipe from the windscreen on a AS peugeot boxer 2001 ? (ravenna) ......shouldn't there be a pipe to drain the water away from the engine? RAC inspection man said " he couldn't see one" 8-) it was a Pre-purchase inspection and I have since read a few things ( not that i understood it all) about possible water ingress into the engine/gearbox and I am on a steep learning curve prior to purchase I'm guessing there should be one ! Am I right in thinking it should run down inside engine bay and exit somewhere I'm talking Ravenna here but I'm guessing should be the same for any peugeot boxer Pictures would be fantastic and so helpful .. so i know what should it have? Caddies104
Hi Is the hole on the left as you look from the front, ours (2000) has a rubber pipe diverting it away from the engine..
Kahloflow
Hi caddies104...I haven't had a chance to look at this area yet.its with the dealer still...and negotiating the RAC inspectors findings . Is there any chance you could take a photo of your pipe ? (lol) I'm going to need to raise it with them tomorrow or Wednesday. I wonder if it's an easy thing to fit ?
