MIDGES IN THE CAMARGUE

Thanks for that, I meant to say mossies! Not sure what to do - I usually land up in the chemist with 'orrible bites.

Anybody else been out there.?

We are (were) planning on staying on one of the two sites at Ste. Maries de la Mer

Anyone got any thoughts on which one of the sites is better - Le Clos du Rhone or La Brise?

Maybe the one actually on the main sea would not have so many mossies which I think is the Le Clos one

whereas the La Brise is one is is round the corner.

Well, we had the most marvellous month in the Camargue.

Can thoroughly recommend the Camp Site - Le Clos du Rhone.

Although not in the height of the season,

We used the ACSI discount card and paid 13 euros per night for the caravan, two adults with electric.

Within a stone's throw of the beach. Wall to wall sunshine.

And the bonus was - the mossies were not as bad as other places we have been.

And thank you to the person we bought the ACSI book and card from (J.M. Wood near Wolverhampton).
