Subject: Best route Bilbao to Benidorm

Having a look around

Hi, for the first time we are taking the long crossing from Portsmouth to Bilbao ,towing our caravan with a small campervan. Any suggestions on the best route to take from Bilbao would be much appreciated,preferably without using tolls as I suspect this would be quite costly..thanks in advance.

If you can afford the ferry to Spain

Then Spanish tolls are peanuts
