JohnSue1664232222
I wanted to ask this question on behalf of a neighbour if that's okay. What is the law regarding parking a caravan on the street ? I imagine there have been threads on this subject before but, being a motorhomer (apologies), I don't follow this forum. Any info gratefully accepted. Banter
Offhand I don't see a problem regarding parking caravans on the street. As long as the vehicle doesn't block the street or make it difficult for other cars to pass by, I think they are treated like any other vehicle... Banter
Little followup: http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=73353 Have a look here and your question should be answered.
JohnSue1664232222
Thank you banter. I've had a look at the forum you mention. Some useful info there about local bye laws, check title deeds of house, reflectors and so on. Someone mentioned it's the same as parking a white transit that's hardly ever used. The difference is that a caravan isn't taxed whereas the transit would be (white van man is always a trustworthy individual). I'll wait for any more info before passing on to the neighbours. Banter
You are welcome , John :) Maybe you are right and it's a better idea to wait for more info respectively get it yourself. Asking for information at a police station would be the last thing I can think of...
