TJK
hello, we use a caravan around Sibsey near Boston in Lincolnshire and would like to ask for advice on what sort of Aerial would be best for our portable TV set? The aerial attachment with the TV set is rubbish so we need something with more power? We do not take the caravan abroad so don't really feel the need for a satellite dish. can anyone suggest a dependable make? many thanks
flicka
If looking for a roof mounted aeriel, have a look here:- (They are the commonest roof mounted type) http://www.gradeuk.co.uk/shop/status-antennas/ Usually available at Caravan accessory shops or try search on the model you select. They have a signal booster which will require a 12v feed. Another alternative:- http://www.avtex.co.uk/index.php/products/listing/aerial

CliveH
I would also add that whatever aerial you use - from our experience it is worthwhile upgrading the set top digi box unless you have it built into the TV. For some years we had a digi box that worked well but then we started to loose channels and sufferred pixelation. A new digibox from Argos (a Bush one about the size of a fag packet!) and WOW! - crystal clear picture and more channels than ever before.
