BigMacRacing Posted March 17, 2013 Share Posted March 17, 2013 Hi all, I have a towbar on a 53 plate VW Golf, which is a Bosal detachable model. I purchased it as a used item but came without any wiring/relay for the indicator beep - it has been fitted and is all fine but I need to make sure it beeps with the indicator. Reason being, I need to take my trailer test license so I can tow with my motorhome and this is one of the requirements. Dave225 Posted March 19, 2013 Share Posted March 19, 2013 The Law states you must have some method of knowing the trailer indicator lights are operating. This can be either a sound device or an indicator on the dash. I do not know if the Golf has a fitting for the dash light or not. If you require just the relay then any trailer supplier can give you the correct one.
