I have a freedom caravan but the door is on the offside is this legal ?
also when on caravan site do I face forward or backwards next to my neighbour (?)

I don't think its illegal, just designed for countries that drive on the right!
Re campsite pitching, you might find the club sites insist you park it a certain way, but private sites can be less strict or formal.

There's a lot of illegal campers and caravans on the road if it is ...................As for pitching it will depend on the site chosen, CC sites tend to be more regimented ................but in general most people pitch with their door on the opposite side from their neighbours, in order to provide a certain amount of privacy .............
