Christmas in the 'van

Couple of years ago we went to the CC Site at Dulverton and had a really lovely time.

We went with some friends (they were in their own caravan parked next to us). Were there for just over the week and would definitely do it again.

Between us we cooked a full Christmas dinner just like we'd have done if at home.

We went on long walks with the dogs each day. Nearly everyone there had their vans decorated with lights, trees etc and the wardens came round the site Christmas Eve on a tractor dressed as Father Christmas and threw sweets etc to all the kids. The wardens were great and even held a party for everyone with food and drinks.

Would we do it again? YES - we are.

:-D about 3 years ago we spent christmas in our caravan at edinburgh club site. Cooked a full christmas dinner and had walks along the firth of forth and around edinburgh. Spent last christmas in spain in our rv and yes we has a full christmas dinner with all the trimmings. We would definately do it again both in uk and abroad. Whats the point of havin a van if you don't use it all or most of the time. :D

We spent last christmas in the M/home. We were at Tudor Park, Slimbridge from Christmas eve until the 30th. We had very cold weather and some snow.

We enjoyed a lovely Christmas day walked into Slimbridge and went to the Morning Service, made very welcome. We then enjoyed a nice Christmas lunch with all the trimmings cooked in the van. Then had our presents.

This year we are going with friends just up the road on another site 27th -3rd Jan for New Year.
