Guest Tracker Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 When I look at the value of my 4 year old van at around £22 - £26k and the cost of a new one being £47 - £50k to the same spec and then I compare how well each is made and then I think of what else I can do with the extra £25k, I just see the extra 2.5% vat as another good reason not to buy a new van! Yes I know the new 'uns are quieter - allegedly, and quicker - allegedly and more economical - allegedly but then we look at the dealer margin and the first year depreciation and then all of a sudden we kinda like Webster the way it is!
