We are going away and my daughter is dog sitting for us for a month. When I tried to add her to our car insurance policy for 30 days I was quoted £134 which seemed extortionate for someone in their early 30s with no convictions etc. When I asked the agent what it would cost to add her until the policy end date next March 2019 it was just over £43. In a nutshell a third less for a greater period of cover. If that's not truly nuts I don't know what is. *-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tracker Posted November 23, 2018 Share Posted November 23, 2018 We added both our sons to both our car insurances to cover for unforseen eventualities and there was no extra to pay, but I did it at renewal via one of the comparison sites so there was no human involvement - and we got another free Meerkat!!
