Like Osborne sent £5billion to the Irish in advance of the Royal Visit. Wouldn't get that if they were giving it to the poor in England. Although a local in St Ives told me they had been asking for new railings along the seafront for years and had given up. Then suddenly lovely new stainless steel railings appeared. Soon afterwards a 'surprise' Royal visit *-) Its a standing joke here that since the railings are only bolted down they might disappear and get the rusty old ones back again now the Royal visit is over :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
