Came across this guys string on Twitter. He's certainly done some research!

UK Negotiated Regional Funds when we entered the Common Market (EEC)

UK Pushed for closer co-ordination of EU foreign policy

UK Renegotiated Common Fisheries policy ( 1983)

UK Led the way for reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (1987)

1983 Conservative Manifesto celebrated the position of Europe in cementing peace on the continent in 1983

UK was one of the movers for the creation of the Single Market

1991 UK Secured an agreement that members would be fined if they did not uphold their responsibilities

1992 UK Set the EU on the route of further expansion including the entry of ex-Soviet countries

1997 Pushed for reform of voting including the loss of veto on certain issues

1998 UK Instrumental in bringing the WEU Defence programme into the EU

2001 Reduction in EU budget

2005 UK Called to speed up Turkish Ascension

2006 UK Persuaded the EU to adopt Energy saving lightbulbs

2010 UK Secured more opt outs

UK 'lost' 76 out of 2466 votes and of the 76 many we did not participate in because they were in areas that had a veto under Protocols 19 & 21 of the Treaty on the European Union and Treaty on functioning of the European Union.

Sending UK EU yes men/women to take part in EU negotiations is a pointless exercise as they're all dyed in the wall EU sycophants, so their negotiations would be to ask how much they wanted the UK to pay *-) ............

If the UK had sent folk like Farage to do the negotiation on our behalf ;-) ..........

Then I'd have more confidence that we had someone to stand up for the UK interests >:-) .......

......and before you start yacking about Farage not attending fishery meetings *-) .......

He's already said numerous times they were worthless talking shops with no power because "Our own" EU sycophants had already done the deal and screwed our fishermen :-| ..........

See you have also fallen for Farages Unicorn crap as well. Farage has an easy job as has Boris (so far) because he never has to deliver anything. All he has to do is rally the plebs into a frenzy and he, to give him some credit does an excellent job at that as did Boris really. If Farage had been our negotiator he would have left after one day and just said "oh a deal isnt possible so we are just leaving with nothing" which after all despite his lies about Norway etc is really what he always wanted. Boris however is going to have to step up to the plate and show the country how its all done. Secretly he will be sh1tting himself about that as the buck now does actually stop with him.

Despite his bluster about walking away come hell or high water on 31 October he knows that is not really an option so its going to be great fun watching him actually have to work that one out. Second ref or revoke I bet.

So the well documented timeline of input from the UK to negotiations within the EU which brought about numerous changes with policies, was just a bunch of nodding sycophants? Which wall were you on about btw? Trumps isn't doing so well and a certain Tory knows how to build "Invisible" ones.

So from your above pearl, i take it you believe all future trade and foreign policy deals with any country will be achieved simply by reminding them of their place, hoisting the flag to Rule Britannia, and demanding they hand over the goods and do as they're told.

Good luck with that one. *-)

He was/is an MEP (still doesn't seem to know himself though the EP may yet give him the financial reminder he needs), so had every opportunity to represent UK's interests. Instead, he spent his time being disruptive and railing against it......the few occasions he could be bothered to turn up at the workplace.

......and before you start yacking about Farage not attending fishery meetings *-) .......

He's already said numerous times they were worthless talking shops with no power because "Our own" EU sycophants had already done the deal and screwed our fishermen :-| ..........

How could he know........he only attended one meeting whilst pretending to be UK's fishermens friend. That's a disgraceful 'work' record and the man is nothing but a charlatan and shyster.
