Bulletguy
Naturally this won't concern any Brexit voter will it as 1) they knew what they were voting for and 2) none ever set foot outside their beloved UK.......do they? ;-) Brits travelling in Europe will overnight face the return of mobile phone roaming charges in the event of a no-deal Brexit. A little-noticed government regulation laid before parliament on Tuesday confirms that the UK will revoke the current legislation that allows holidaymakers and business people to use their smartphones in the EU at no extra cost. The draft ‘statutory instrument’, which has been tabled as part of a raft of no-deal preparations, means that from March 29 phone users will be liable for surcharges when they travel on the continent. In a note accompanying the secondary legislation - the Mobile Roaming (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 - government admits that consumer groups lobbied hard for a new scheme to maintain the current arrangements. But “after careful consideration, the government decided not to adopt this proposal”, it states. https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/brits-eu-mobile-phone-roaming-no-deal-brexit-government_uk_5c5b185be4b09293b20ab335

Simples! as in a Remoaners brain cell :D ........ This is the most stupid remark yet!!!! Unless you have lots of friends with whom you wish to communicate in the country you are in...... this will not enable FREE communication with the UK. Pelmetman you cannot seriously imagine that the UK will introduce this and expect the EU not to reciprocate.....or perhaps you think they should :D So typical of Brexit thinking.
