I'll keep a look out for that "Peaceful Islam" one Did you ever go to Northern Ireland in the height of the troubles? I did, a fair few times (With the lovely Fiona B-) ). The first time I went would be the early 90s and everyone here said, dont go, stay in your hotel, dont go out, you will be killed to death. I was amazed to find out that not everyone in Belfast wanted to kill you, in fact we always had a good time. Saw the odd building get stormed and there were certainly some no go areas, especially for two young English people in suits and smart haircuts but as it turned out not everyone from Northern Ireland was a terrorist. In fact it became my view that pretty much nearly everyone just wanted the fighting to go away. So I suspect you will find the same view from the vast majority of those in the west that follow Islam. Despite the horrific acts of terrorism we have seen you are several more times likely to be killed by lightening, a shark or falling in the bath than you are of being killed by Terrorism so he does have a point. We all recognise there is a problem with Islamic Terrorism but as a quarter of the worlds population are Muslims of one form or other its only a tiny proportion that become radicalised and carry out acts of terror clearly.
