Banksy Boat

Oooh this will have the refugee haters fuming and pee 'em off. :D

Banksy is funding a refugee rescue boat operating in Mediterranean. The crew, made up of European activists with long experience in search and rescue operations, had already assisted in two other rescue operations involving a total of 105 people, who are now onboard the NGO vessel Sea-Watch 4.

Banksy’s involvement in the rescue mission goes back to September 2019 when he sent an email to Pia Klemp, the former captain of several NGO boats that have rescued thousands of people over recent years.

Well done Sir Banksy. :-D

The differance is Banksy is an artist, not a graffiti hooligan.

Don’t be daft, there is absolutely no difference between spraying using your hand as a stencil or a piece of card. Both are usually done on someone else’s property. Both may well be described as artists but spraying on someone elses property is vandalism. It’s about time he was dealt with the same as the ones doing it to underground trains.

At least 500 people are known to have drowned in the Med. this year - and sending out this boat encourages ever increasing numbers of people to risk it -

If Banksy came and sprayed paint all over my house, I wouldn't be calling him a vandal, i'd be calling him a genius, and giving sotherbys a ring.

All the guys spraying underground trains are artists. So what you are saying is that as you like his work its not an offence, how selective, but still unlawful.

Ideally they need some ferries. Come to think of it that £2 billion quid of taxpayers money Johnsons lot spaffed on a ferry company with no ferries would have bought a few. :-|

So how many has Wanksy put up in his gaff? ;-) .......

Just askin? :D .........

He's funding a Search and Rescue vessel, not properties. It works the same way as RNLI does here funded by members of society with humanity and empathy....something which is anathema to you.

And what is your plan for them all after they have landed in Europe ?

Is there a limit to how many you would take in ?

Allow them to seek asylum in the country of their choosing and then let that process run it's legal course. Not all are granted it but it's far more humane than only accepting applications from people in the country. By comparison to other countries we've taken very few refugees in. We need them. Only the other day i read of an Iraqi refugee whose now studying medicine for his degree at Cambridge and wants to work for the NHS.

You do realise there are millions coming? Where are they all going to go ? Are you prepared to pay for it all?

So are you saying our home grown terrorists are not very religious then? Thats odd as you usually blame these despicable acts on the religion of Islam.
