Widdecombe is back at it again making an idiot of herself. (lol)

Moaning now about her locker at the EP being too high for her to reach. Never occurred to the dense dumbo to swap lockers with that lanky whiner Announcyarter Smugg. *-)

Ever likely we are the laughing stock of the world with loonies like this representing the country.

I suspect though that the 'dense dumbo' Oxford educated Ms Widdicombe knows the difference between its (possessive pronoun) and it's (elision). I also suspect that she and Ms Rees Mogg also know the difference between countries (plural) and country's (possessive. I find it hilarious that a man who has reached his sixth or seventh decade and hasn't the brains to have worked out the difference between its and it's can accuse everyone who doesn't share his own execrable views and opinions of being thick or a twerp.

I've browsed this forum for years and visit this section with the same rather grubby attraction that draws us to car crashes and other accidents and that's mainly because of your almost insane rantings and hate-filled rabid ravings, insulting anyone whose opinion differs from yours. Oh, and you don't appear to know the difference between who's and whose either. I and many of my well-educated friends voted to leave the EU. Our view was considered and rational but, because we are intelligent, we also accept that others may have a different opinion. You should try it.

Your posts are hateful, vile and vitriolic but, most of all, display an arrogance that is beyond belief. When I read some of your bilious outpouring I genuinely believe that you are ill. You need to look at yourself very carefully and and ask yourself what is prompting this hatred and positively evil attitude.

Finally, the day that you left Motorhome Fun because you refused to pay a tenner a year and expected Jim to keep funding it from his own pocket, was a day that many of us on that forum celebrated.

I trust you and your "many well educated friends" were also aware UK MP's got exactly the same as what silly Ms Smugg made a mug of herself the other day whining on social media about MEP's having.....which if so, makes you and your "many well educated friends" look as daft as her! Might be better to pretend you didn't know. ;-)

Sensible people, without an axe of hatred to grind, may well think that she made a perfectly valid point when she said: "If you honestly believe anyone on a salary of €101k, plus office allowance of €52k each year, on top of three offices and €250k staff salaries NEEDS a free iPad, I’m not sure you ever meet normal people." MEPs have unbelievably generous expenses, most of which don't have to be accounted for. How does that compare to UK MPs?

But I see that you're dodging the main point of my post, which is that you spend what appears to be half of your life on here snidely accusing anyone whose views you oppose, as being 'thick as mince' but your dreadful English proves that you're really not very bright. As I said, how can you have gone through life not being able to notice the difference between it's and its? How can you have lived so long and spent so much time reading and trawling through the Internet and not know that it's a country's flag and not a countries flag? The fact is that you're as thick as mince yourself. You're also an out and out liar. You accused Ms Mogg's brother Jacob of taking his millions and his hedge fund to Dublin, which would be difficult as he doesn't have any hedge funds! Furthermore he hasn't relocated his company to anywhere but has offices in other parts of the world and Dublin is just the latest one. But don't let the truth and facts bother you as long as you can continue with your lies and ravings. Please, you need help, seek it quickly. It's a good job you left Fun because your disgraceful and libellous behaviour wouldn't be tolerated there today.

I also laughed at your moaning about how the state may not pay for you to go into a retirement home for your final years and how you may have to sell your home to fund it. It's hilarious to see socialists fighting tooth and nail to hang on to their money and preserve the right to pass it on to their children. Unless of course you're a rich Tory, when it's greedy and selfish to do exactly the same thing. Total hypocrite.

I don't normally comment on grammar and on Fun it's verboten but over the last few years browsing this forum I've got heartily sick of this nasty piece of work insulting, in the most vile terms, anyone who has the temerity to disagree with his opinions. There are lots of incredibly successful and intelligent people who believe that we can prosper if freed from the shackles of the EU. People such as the chairman of JCB, one of the UK's most successful exporters for instance.

He can't disagree with them without resorting to the most vile insults and suggesting that they're imbeciles and 'thick as mince'. Well I'm going to show that he's not too bright himself.

Many people on here have poor grammar, that doesn't bother me, but they don't set themselves up as a giant intellectual whose views can't be questioned by lesser mortals and, if they have the temerity to do so, they must be 'as thick as mince' or stupid. The man is a thoroughly nasty piece of work whose obsession and vitriolic ravings suggest a mental health problem.

Sensible people would also recognise the ipad is provided for a reason......to work on. But that's something of anathema to Smugg and her ilk who have no intention of doing anything at the EP other than being as disruptive as possible in addition to being bone idle as is now abundantly clear.

UK gov MP's have exactly the same facility and four years ago the Express whined about it;

https://www.express.co.uk/life-style/science-technology/566110/House-of-Commons-MPs-iPad-Air-2-Parliament-Cost

But that was pre-referendum before it became the favoured mouthpiece for Brexiters so took an entirely different view four years later with an about turn, stroking Miss Smugg's ego and appealing to ill informed fellow Brexiters short on memory.

https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1143049/news-european-parliament-brexit-news-brexit-party-rees-mogg-filming-brussels-widdecombe

Years ago MP/MEP's would have been given jotting pads and biro.....but the world has moved on and we've been in the IT age some time now.

But I see that you're dodging the main point of my post, which is that you spend what appears to be half of your life on here snidely accusing anyone whose views you oppose, as being 'thick as mince' but your dreadful English proves that you're really not very bright. Appreciate your 'concern' over how i spend my personal time with my own life but quite frankly i don't give a flying fig and neither is it any business of yours......so buzz off back to your safe space. You haven't got your totalitarian regime yet so aren't in a position to come swaggering around in here with such bullish arrogance, even less as a parachute poster, lecturing me or for that matter any other poster who dares to hold an opinion differing to yours.

If forum pedantry is what you get your jollies off on then feel free to carry on.....it amuses me greatly to watch people like you picking at minor grammatical errors or 'typos' in posts, but you won't get much joy with either of the Beano boys as the most they manage are one liner tweet like posts if they can't source a copy 'n paste job. But they are in your 'club' so you will fit in nicely there.

Unless of course you're a rich Tory, when it's greedy and selfish to do exactly the same thing. Total hypocrite.

Hypocrisy, greed and selfishness, which went totally over Miss Smugg's head, as seemingly it also did with yourself despite your "many well educated friends", that the Smuggs ancestral family home recently benefited from a £7.6 million restoration courtesy of the tax payer. Very nice.....but the proles must pay for their own property maintenance and not expect freebie bungs off less well off tax payers. That's what separates 'us and them', the wealth gap/divide with the Smuggs et al living on another planet leeching from the less well off.

You forgot to mention the "incredibly successful" arch pro- Brexiteer James Dyson, intelligent enough to 'jump ship' altogether from UK and swan off to Singapore to build his electric car. The same reason as Honda shut down Swindon to relocate back to Japan......FTA's. Something which Dyson values way more than returning to set up his plant in UK when he knows he would lose access to that vast market EU will give him.

Funny how these folk want Brexit for everyone in UK......but not for themselves.

Bamford sells primarily to the UK home market apart from sales in Brazil, China, Russia and India down. He sells in the US but wants a better deal and doesn't like the EU since being whacked with a £22m fine for violating competition law by engaging in restrictive distribution practices preventing buyers to purchase elsewhere. He also bought himself a peerage by donating a bung to the Tory party.....so it doesn't take much to figure why he's still here.

Yes, only someone who is thick as mince, or a devious liar, could seek to tarnish JRM with the news that the government has agreed to pay for damages to a house owned by a preservation trust, a house whose foundations are at risk because of mining subsidence. A decision fully supported by the local Labour council because of the boost it will bring to local services.

Only someone who is as thick as mince could write: 'Bamford (JCB) sells primarily to the UK home market apart from sales in Brazil, China, Russia and India down.' JCB exports 75% of its production to 140 countries. Half of its employees are abroad and it has factories in several countries.

Here's the truth from his favourite rag (apart from The Socialist Worker of course).

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2015/apr/11/jcb-britain-yellow-digger-money-machine-sales

That was in 2015 but JCB continues to expand.

There is no end to this man's lies and willingness to vilify anyone who doesn't agree with his twisted agenda.

See above where I demolish your lies about JCB. Bamford got a peerage for contributing enormously to employment, exports and our GDP.

Dyson did what many businesses do, he opened factories in developing countries, where production costs are less. Just like every car manufacturer for instance whose products are made all over the world. Do you disapprove of firms giving jobs and creating wealth in some of the world's poorest nations?

However, what Dyson has done is concentrated UK jobs on the highly paid research areas and now he employs 4800 people here. Recently he announced a £350m expansion to one of two research and development centres in Wiltshire, south-west England, for autonomous vehicle testing.

Furthermore he has opened his own university to ensure that the UK has the engineers and scientists to secure and expand its prosperity. None of this would have been possible if he'd kept his core manufacturing in Britain, especially now he's investing heavily in the development of electric cars.

https://www.dysoninstitute.com/

Here's a tip, start reading beyond the headlines in your leftie rags and you won't continue to show everyone that you're a thick as mince.

This is what I wrote in reply to another post of yours - 'I don't really care about the poor grammar and bad spelling of half the population of any forum. Not being good at English shouldn't diminish anyone who may well be a kind and decent person.' However, Bulletguy is different. The man is vile and considers himself superior to anyone who has the temerity to hold a different viewpoint. After careful thought, and like many others, I'm a brexiteer, you're not, but I will never accuse you of being thick as mince just because you have a different viewpoint. The truth is that leaving the EU may damage us slightly for a while, it may not, but it could also be the best thing we ever do, allowing us to create a more vibrant economy.

I just wish that people would accept that both sides have good arguments for their own position and would desist in vilifying and insulting those who differ.'

When Bulletguy stops accusing anyone who holds a different view from him of being as thick as mince, stupid, a twerp etc etc, then perhaps I'll stop pointing out that he's in no position to accuse others of being thick.

Mere semantics. Fact still remains the tax paying joe soaps funded renovation of his mil's home, an already wealthy family whose descendants will all be beneficiaries from inherited wealth, funded in part by the tax payer. Its ok to call people "as thick as mince" on here though. Its all part of the Chatterbox Hollywood Banter". Some of us get called "Remoaners", Sore Losers, or just Losers, wets, loony lefties (Im a Tory me, well used to be) and the latest one is "Haters". That is more insulting than being called "Thick as mince" I think which actually is just funny.

I recently had new windows and an external door fitted.....oddly enough nobody gave me a few grand toward the bill.....i had to pay the lot from my own savings.

Mere semantics translate as......."I got caught talking out of my a*se again" (lol) (lol) (lol) .........

Bullet's gonna have a right old temper tantrum when we get a Brexiteer for PM :D ..........

I feel sorry for his laptop 8-) .........

I hope it's spittle proof :-|.........

There are lots of incredibly successful and intelligent people who believe that we can prosper if freed from the shackles of the EU. People such as the chairman of JCB, one of the UK's most successful exporters for instance.

Funny how these folk want Brexit for everyone in UK......but not for themselves.

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/jan/23/james-dyson-brexiteer-elite-brexit-rees-mogg

See above where I demolish your lies about JCB. Bamford got a peerage for contributing enormously to employment, exports and our GDP.

Many employers have "contributed enormously to employment, exports and our GDP".......but don't get a peerage. It's known fact that Bamford is a long time donor to the Tory party and that's how most peerages are dished out...and to keep you happy, not only Tory peers. You have to be pretty naive to believe they are only achieved for the reason you state. *-)

Incidentally Anthony Bamford would be nowhere without his father Joe, or 'Joey' as he' was known locally.....and neither would Joey had it not been for father-in-law to be who funded the lock up garages he started with.

Dyson did what many businesses do, he opened factories in developing countries, where production costs are less. Just like every car manufacturer for instance whose products are made all over the world. Do you disapprove of firms giving jobs and creating wealth in some of the world's poorest nations?

I wasn't referring to his vacuum cleaner production. I was specifically referring to his well publicised decision to build his electric car in Singapore, a land starved country making land for commercial industrial development extremely scarce and expensive.....but of course Dyson already owned land there. As for 'poor', Singapore has one of the highest average salaries in the world after tax. There is also a good supply of highly skilled engineers and scientists. Dyson himself admitted his decision was based on supply chains, access to markets and the availability of expertise. FTA's with the EU is exactly what he wants but what UK was turning it's back on so it was a 'no brainer' as to where he'd shift production.

Singapore is one of the world’s most expensive places to own a car because the government strictly controls the vehicle population by charging owners a variable rate for the right to own and use a vehicle for a limited number of years. Privately owned electric car ownership in Singapore is in single digits but Dyson's market is China and other Asian markets such as S. Korea and Japan.

When did Dyson last produce anything in UK....and i'm talking industrial production lines, not 'think tanks' or universities?

You came blustering in here yesterday as a parachute poster but like a bull in a china shop, taking indignant exception to my 'thick as mince' comment......unable to see through your own red mist exactly who and why that concerned. In future i suggest you take a deep breath, pause for thought, and before going off on one again, actually take the time to read posts you criticise before bashing your keyboard.

Don't you think you should check your facts before you post? ;-) ...........

I'm no heredity expert.......But I don't think my sister can claim my wife's mothers house as her ancestral home? :-S .........

Is there no end to your bare-faced lies? It hasn't been in JRM's family for years. Do you ever take the trouble to research things properly or does your limited intellect not allow you to absorb detail?

Just a couple of your lies recently are - JCB sells most of its production in the UK.

JRM has taken his millions to Dublin and moved his 'hedge fund' there.

Your biggest lie recently though is that somehow JRM or his family are benefiting from the government's decision to contribute to the renovation of Wentworth House. Lies, lies and more lies.

I have also questioned your sanity like Funster John. Like him, not in a nasty way because it is possibly a medical problem still undiagnosed. Of course you could be some kind of sadist who gets a high by being villified and abused. Whatever the cause, you are not the average motorhome owner. I mean, who else has a visit to North Korea on his/her bucket list? 8-) I have spent time in a country serviced by a Marxist Government and seen the neglect, abuse and devastation to the infrastructure and people. Oh, did I mention there was also a Civil War going on as well. Perhaps the population were not keen on Marxism and its effects. ;-)

I've explained twice why normally I couldn't care less about people's grammar and spelling. As I've already said though your limited intellect doesn't allow you to absorb things. But I'll spell it out again for you. You are a vicious, vile and arrogant oaf. You constantly accuse anyone whom you don't agree with of being thick, or a twerp or a knuckle dragging bigot. You are incapable of making a point without the most appalling character assassination or, in many cases, utter fabrications. In short you are the most disgusting bully that I've ever come across on a forum and after reading your garbage for a long time I decided it was time that someone pointed out what a semi-literate, nasty creature you are.

As opposed to you who parachuted himself into this forum because he was too tight to pay a tenner and expected Jim to continue funding Fun from his own pocket. You weren't missed when you left Fun.

Ps When Dyson moved production it wasn't to Singapore but to Malaysia. The lower production costs enabled him to make his company more profitable and this let him invest millions in the UK to create more of the kind of highly paid jobs that we need and to train more and more scientists and engineers. That's where our future lies.

It was reported in the FT in 2016.....oooh, lies from a "right wing rag". Mogg moved his hedge fund with Somerset Capital to Dublin in order to keep access to the EU. Everyone else knows that. Naturally Mogg says it has "nothing to do with Brexit".....but he would say that wouldn't he, as they all do.
