Brexiter quits!

Here we go again....yet another Brexit multi billionaire flees UK for....yep, you've guessed it, Monaco where he's now domiciled in the safety of his tax free haven.

His decision to quit Britain came soon after he was knighted by the Queen for “services to business and investment”, and the UK voted to leave the European Union.

Ratcliffe was going to build his Grenadier 4x4 vehicles at Bridgend which would have created 500 jobs in Wales, but instead chose to set up production in France.....it goes without saying the reasons why.

So.......a question for the few Brexiters left on this forum; IF Brexit is going to be so brilliant, why are those with money disappearing like rats from a sinking ship?

As I understand it, setting up a manufacturing plant in France involves paying labour costs and taxes which are higher than in UK so what are the reasons which go without saying?

JIT, seamless flow, FTA's giving unfettered access to the European market. All essential for production hence the reason the other arch Brexiteer Dyson isn't coming back to UK but building his electric car in Singapore where commercial land is extremely expensive and tightly controlled, but as with Ratcliffe, he knows where his market is. UK once had all this but Brexiters chose to throw it down the pan making such pompous claims as "the EU needs us more than we need them".

Was......in which case you'd think he'd come back to bask in the sunlit upland of Brexit Britain, but no, it seems Singapore is still more attractive for business.

Tesla is kicking off its Model Y offensive, with new developments in Fremont and China indicating a ramp up of production of its latest electric vehicle model is imminent.

Article report date August 2020. Now, remind me again, when was Covid declared a pandemic by WHO?
