His decision to quit Britain came soon after he was knighted by the Queen for “services to business and investment”, and the UK voted to leave the European Union. Ratcliffe was going to build his Grenadier 4x4 vehicles at Bridgend which would have created 500 jobs in Wales, but instead chose to set up production in France.....it goes without saying the reasons why.
